Calm and reflect
Guided Weight Loss Journal: Morning and Evening Prompts
A blank page can be hard to start. The guided journal gives you a few short questions at the right moments: a morning intention to set the direction for your day, an evening reflection to learn from it, and a set for when progress feels slow.
How it works
- 1In the morning: who do I want to be today, three small ways that person will show up, what could make today hard and what I will do, and one thing tomorrow’s me will thank me for.
- 2In the evening: when I reacted on autopilot, when I stopped and chose on purpose, what a tricky moment taught me, a choice I am proud of, and what I will try differently tomorrow.
- 3When you feel stuck: what is in the way, what it could be teaching you, what you have really done consistently, and one next step.
- 4Or free write with a daily prompt. Everything is saved, private and searchable, so you can see your patterns over time.
Why it helps
- Writing down an intention and a plan for obstacles makes it more likely you will follow through, compared with good intentions alone.
- Reflecting on the day as an observer, not a judge, turns slips into lessons instead of reasons to quit.
- Keeping a regular record is one of the most consistent habits of people who make lasting changes.
Questions
How long should my answers be?
As short as you like. A few words per question is enough. The value is in pausing to ask the question.
Do I have to do both morning and evening?
No. Start with whichever fits your day. Even one set a day builds the habit.
